Luxurious, exceptionally clean hotel with very very helpful and genuinely helpful personnel at the reception desk. Delicious, absolutely fantastic breakfast with many options.

This hotel was located in a very central area not far from bistro/restaurant, and shops and restaurants and the harbor sights and opera house. It also was right in the center of town. Booked twin/double room, that was provided with decent breakfast, view of the harbour and a balcony.

Had a really nice stay in a wonderful town, glad I've chosen it. Its perfect, central location was a plus. Main shopping street and a shopping street were right next door.

The hotel was tidy and had helpful and attentive staff at the reception desk. Loved the good sized and compact room with a view and the way it was setup. There were a mini-bar, coffee, and an iron when we arrived. The venue's location was incredible, close to So near to the centre, the iconic church, and all the other eateries in the town. Furthermore, right in the heart of town.

The property was beautiful and pleasant with pleasant staff at the reception desk. Very good breakfast with many options was available.

Also, location was great, a 10-15 minute walking distance from a 3.6-hectare park. This hotel was in a good area right by the church and baths above and all the other eateries and the harbour and cultural centre, Hof. Venue's room was perfectly clean with a great view of the mountains and the ocean. It had an exceptionally comfortable bed and included a large bathroom a shower and hairdryers.

I went on a trip and everything here was very enjoyable. The staff were both very hardworking and hard-working. Had alcoholic drinks in the outdoor bar. No complaints whatsoever, the venue met what was needed, recommend it.

Staying here was a great experience. This venue is located in the heart of town, making it easy to go out and explore. The staff both at check-in and check-out at the reception desk were wonderful, and really made me feel welcome. The room amenities, such as the heating and air conditioning control, and the mini-bar, were very handy, and the flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi was a nice touch. Additionally, the restaurant served delicious meals, and the sauna and fitness centre were refreshing ways to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.
I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Location is right in the center of town.
Everything is expensive in Iceland, but this hotel is ridiculous. The rate is outrageously high considering that the rooms are small, the bathrooms are minimal, the furniture is sparse and not very comfortable, breakfast was mediocre, etc. I'm not a fussy traveler, so these facilities would normally be okay with me... At about half the price! There aren't many hotel options in Akureyri -- and they're all relatively high-priced -- but one of them has got to be a more reasonable deal than this.

Very clean and amazing beds. I had the best night sleep. The douvet was with real featers as opposed to synthetic ones hence it was hot at the right level. I had issues sleeping everywhere else in Iceland as the rooms where too hot or too cold. At KEA everything was perfect
the bathroom and the shower were kind of small and the breakfast was ok but not amazing

Neat, ideal hotel with attentive staff at the reception desk. High standard, beautifully maintained rooms with a view. Amazing and fab location close to everything in a shopping area.
-
Clyde
The hotel offers a fantastic breakfast buffet with a good selection and variety of food. The room is well decorated, clean, and maintained to a high standard. The location is outstanding, centrally located and close to restaurants, shops, and a beautiful church. The staff is efficient and the check-in process for our large group went smoothly. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with amenities such as free Wi-Fi.
Felt truly looked after, no reason to complain.

Convenient downtown location. Nice, clean facility. Several restaurants and shopping nearby.
Staff was not particularly knowledgable about their town (only 14000 people). Usually seemed occupied with other people. Dining room food, while presented nicely, was cold when served - and waitress didn't seem to care..
